On behalf of the Canadian Weed Science Society / Société Canadienne de Malherbologie, we are pleased to share an update on the 2026 Annual Meeting. This year’s theme is Managing Multiple Herbicide-Resistant Weeds.

The organizing committee is developing an exciting and engaging program focused on various aspects of weed science, invasive plants, and interactions among organisms and noxious plant species across Canada. The program will include graduate student presentations, roundtable discussions, poster sessions, concurrent presentations, workshops, and plenary speakers.
What’s New This Year?
On Monday of the conference, we are planning a special program geared toward industry representatives, retailers, and growers. This event will provide opportunities to learn, discuss emerging technologies and challenges, and network in a small-group setting. Additional details will be shared in the coming months.
